Great Rejoicing!

Easton has initiated quite a few discussions over the past few months regarding baptism. With the help and resources of folks at church, and much prayer he decided, last week, that he was ready to become a Christian!

He asked Matt if he would baptize him, and, of course, Matt was honored. Although, being up in front of people is not his forte', he was excited to baptize him. Easton was scared of being up in front of lots of folks too. I tried to explain to him that all the people that would be witnessing it, are just as happy for him and rejoicing along with us. Still, he decided that he only wanted family and close friends.

Yesterday, we all met at the church building and watched as Easton made the most important decision of his life. Just as mentioned in Luke 15:10; "...there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

CONGRATULATIONS, Easton!! We are so very proud of you, and will pray that God blesses you everyday of your life!

Wow! That must be a wonderful feeling to know that your child is walking in the light. Something I pray daily about. Congrats to Easton and the whole family!

I'm proud of all of you Gayles! From Kate Gayle on down! What a wonderful family of God! I've never known anything but good things about my Gayle cousins! I'm honored to be related to you!

Betty Lou and Noel deserve to be remembered and honored. Such giants of faith, integrity, love and honor.

Thanks, Robin, for reading my blog about Matt's Mom, Betty Lou. I've remained in awe of her, for the constancy of her love and devotion to a friend. What a remarkable woman!
